We continue to focus on the sustainability and the security of water resources for our communities. In a country so susceptible to drought, recycled water is an increasingly valuable supply source for a range of residential, commercial and industrial purposes.

Recycled water is a sustainable source of water that reduces pressure on the town water supply and minimises the amount of nutrients going into our waterways from the wastewater treatment process.

The use of recycled water is governed by a set of precautions, approved uses and hygiene practices. Recycled water is not approved for drinking purposes. It is not suitable for filling swimming pools.

We have a firm committment to quality standards and in raising awareness about the range of benefits of recycled water reuse.

Where the usage compliance criteria applies and the necessary infrastructures are in place, recycled water can provide commercial savings when compared to the procurement of Potable Water

WS&S can supply bulk volumes of Water by Train.

DOMESTIC RECYCLED WATER

The Water Train typical carries two (2) ISO tanks on each rail wagon and there can be 25 wagons per individual train. There is typically a safe fill capacity of 24,000 Litres per ISO. Potable water is transported in food grade stainless steel ISO’s, with each unit inspected and certified. Recycled water products can also be transported in similar ISO’s. Haulage by train is both economical & promotes a safe transport methodology.
